| Job description: | This is an excellent opportunity for an individual dedicated to providing superior customer service by originating Residential Mortgage Loans and Home Equity Loans. Responsibilities for this job include developing referral relationships among the professional community including Realtors, Attorneys, CPA’s, Financial Planners, Home Builders, etc., as well as working with assigned Roma Bank branches and their managers on mortgage referrals through the branch. Other duties are cross-selling Roma Bank products to borrowers and referral relationships; preparing applicants by communicating Roma Bank requirements prior to application interview; facilitating individual applications and acting as a liaison between Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and the borrower; ensuring a complete application is submitted by collecting required documents and fees; correctly communicating lock-in of interest rates to borrower; and participating in the coordination of closings/settlements with borrowers, realtors, attorneys and title companies.
